The Braided Rakhi Bracelet is Hand-made, using eri silk, a natural fiber also known as the Ahimsa silk, bamboo/cane and sandalwood seed, while working with local skilled artisans to bring it to life. The designs of the bracelet wraps are minimalist and elegant in aesthetic. Each piece is individually hand-strung to make it an aesthetically pleasing product which is connected to our roots.

Manufacturing Process

The crafting of rakhis involves a detailed and artisanal process, beginning with the dyeing of Eri threads, which are then meticulously twisted and tied using various knots with the aid of a hand-twisting tool. Flowers are fashioned from cane and bamboo, and the accompanying band is woven from cane. Loom waste yarn is expertly twisted and braided to enhance the rakhi's texture. Finally, sandalwood seeds are transformed into elegant beads, adding a refined touch to the finished product. Each step reflects a blend of traditional techniques and skilled craftsmanship, resulting in beautifully handcrafted rakhi
