Beyond the Clouds: A cinematic evening brought filmmakers, photographers, and tribal gourmet under the beautiful events space at Meghalayan Age, The store on 30th September. A full house of keen viewers watched three short films, a talk on a photographer's journey, and a delectable spread of Khasi fusion food, better categorized as 'tribal gourmet'. 'Beyond The Clouds' our September event, three short films were screened and a book released. Each a universal story, told in a unique style, in the context of Meghalaya's culture, ethnic values, history, languages and landscape. Photographer, Anurag Banerjee released his book 'I'm not here' with a warm talk and presentation about his self publishing jounery, his process and life between Mumbai and Shillong.
The three films were, '19/87' directed by Wanphrang Diengdoh and Dondor E Lyngdoh, 'RONG•KUCHAK' (30mins) directed by Dominic Sangma and 'PATH' (20mins) directed by Pradip Kurbah and screenplay by Paulami Duttagupta. Followed by a Panel Discussion moderated by Karishma Upadhyay.
