The second edition of “Movies that Matter” featured the film screening of Rapture, directed by award-winning filmmaker, Dominic M Sangma. The event also graced the presence of actors like Handam R Marak, a master craftsman and Dewal M Sangma, a custodian of Garo musical heritage.
Furthermore, the event space also allowed for a cultural showcase of the Garo community. With a presentation on the living woodcraft museum of Aminda Rangsagre, we bear witness to the most unique wood-working skills of master craftsman, Handam R Marak and his creations capturing the essence and significance of the Garo tribe.

ABOUT THE MOVIE
The fear of child – Kidnappers grips the village, At the same time, the church prophesizes the coming of apocalyptic darkness that will last for 80 days. Through Kasan (male, 10) who suffers from night blindness, we witness the unfolding of unprecedented events in the village.
