Come and taste Meghalaya’s delicious Pineapple - fresh, cooked, baked, juiced and as wine, at the Meghalaya Pineapple Fest 2023.
Carefully grown in the warmer climes of the Khasi, Garo, and Jaintia hills, the pineapples from Meghalaya are exceptionally sweet with a brix value of 16-18, making it yet another delectable exploration of Meghalaya’s culinary treasures.
A pineapple takes one full year to mature and reach our tables! At the Meghalaya Pineapple Festival, food stylists and artisans invite you to experience the many delightful ways of enjoying the fruit, as also the various artifacts made from the fibres of the plant.
Besides being a gastronomic experience, the Meghalaya Pineapple Festival is also the story of empowering rural communities and sustaining the future of farmers, entrepreneurs, and artisans, told through photo exhibits and crafts and product setups at the festival venue.
