It was wonderful to host the many lovely visitors throughout the month-long archival postcard exhibition and film screening of 'Close to the Hearth' narrated by actor, Padma Shri Tom Alter.
On the last day, we were honored to have Jamie Alter, journalist, anchor, and son of Tom Alter, and other friends for the final screening and a celebratory lunch.
We served a traditional dish - chicken in black sesame seeds made by Tribal Gourmet along with local cookies, dips, and a mix of fruit juice from Meghalaya.
