Celebrating Motherhood

It was our privilege and joy to celebrate Mother’s Day on 13th May, with dreamy tunes that filled our hearts by the band Unusual Tales at the opening of "Motherhood" an exhibition of photographs of craftswomen from the Birth collection. The evening made us think of the beauty, strength, selfless qualities, and love of a mother.

It included the following activities:
1. Photo Exhibition
2. A showcase of woven Black Pottery from the Birth Collection & Special Offers on Gift Hampers.
3. Performance by UNUSUAL TALES - Dedicated to a mother’s unconditional love music.

Unusual tales is a three-piece band hailing from Shillong, Meghalaya who uncover journeys of everyday life through music. We came together to pay tribute to all the music legends whom we have been listening to as we grew up. Making music together with a common ground makes it easier to understand each other and grow as we go. Being surrounded by nature throughout, we have always felt a sense of comfort, peace and love and that’s what we want to share with our listeners and feel the love.
